Our client in the greater Janesville area is looking for a Compensation Manager. This client is looking for someone with 7+ years employee compensation experience, strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This company offers growth opportunities, team social events, and a hybrid work environment.

The Compensation Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all employees of the compensation departments.
  • Responsible for the performance management and hiring of employees within the department.
  • Manages development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
  • Monitors existing compensations practices and recommends changes.
  • Provide advice to leadership members on pay, policy, and job evaluations.
  • Develop creative solutions to compensation-related programs and incentives plans.
  • Oversees participation in salary surveys and monitor data.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws.
  • Influence evaluation of processes to meet stakeholders needs.
  • Refine current performance review processes to align with companies’ values.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.

The Compensation Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, business or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in employee compensation with a high transaction environment.
  • SHRM or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
