Job Description

We’re hiring skilled Controls Panel Builders to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels used in industrial control systems. Ideal candidates have strong technical skills, familiarity with control devices and PLCs, and electrical code knowledge. Your role ensures precision, code compliance, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and control logic documentation
• Assemble control panels, including fitting components like relays, PLCs, motor starters, terminal blocks, and HMIs
• Perform wire cutting, labeling, termination, routing, and tidy bundling
• Test control circuits, troubleshoot wiring, and verify point-to-point continuity
• Adhere to NEC, UL, and company safety/quality standards
• Collaborate with engineers/QA to resolve design or build issues
• Support job documentation and sign-off procedures

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years in controls panel building or industrial wiring
• Skills: Strong knowledge of control system components and electrical safe work practices
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
• Physical/Other: Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
