Job Description

We are seeking a Mandarin-English Interpreter to support effective communication in a manufacturing plant environment. This role is essential in bridging language and cultural gaps to ensure clear understanding during training, safety briefings, and technical discussions.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide real-time interpretation between English and Mandarin speakers on the manufacturing floor
• Support training sessions, safety meetings, and collaborative team activities
• Accurately convey meaning, tone, and context while maintaining confidentiality
• Adapt communication style to different technical and cultural settings

What We’re Looking For:

• Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin and English
• Prior interpreting experience (manufacturing/technical setting preferred)
• Strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various schedules, including evenings/weekends
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field preferred; professional interpreting certification a plus
